A car auctioneer in Australia has revealed how he sells a car that is abandoned and could be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
In a series of YouTube videos posted to the Carsavan website, the Australian, who goes by the name Alison, describes how she uses a variety of techniques to sell a car with a history of being sold to criminals.
“This is an example of a car I’m selling,” she explains.
“The car I just sold is a 2010 Holden Commodore V6.
I sold it to a convicted murderer in the Philippines.”
She explains that she has been using “a variety of tricks” to sell the car, which was originally bought by a man from the Philippines in 2014.
The seller of the Commodore V7 said he sold it because it had been used by the “criminal kingpin” to kill a woman and take his wife’s car.
“I know the man that the woman was killed by, he was also a drug trafficker,” he said.
“He was a drug kingpin.
He had many other cars that he sold to different people, including my wife.”
The seller said he used a variety.
He explained that he could have sold the car to a bank but “had to do it for me and for the country”.
The seller says he had sold the Commodore before he was arrested.
“It’s a very rare car, you’ve never seen one like this,” he says.
“There’s no one that can say, ‘Oh, this guy’s selling this car’.”
Alison’s videos have attracted more than 8.5 million views.
In one video she explains how she used a video-taping app to film her selling the car.
It was in this video that the buyer of the car appeared.
“Hey man, you sold this car, what you got for the money?” she said.
The man replied with a $50,000 offer.
Alison says the man offered $1 million for the car but the seller turned him down.
“Why would I do that?” she asks.
“Because I don’t know him.
And I don.
So he’s out there selling.””
I’m not going to sell it to you, I’m going to go to the bank and tell them what he’s got for that $50 million,” she said before asking the man to return her money.”
But you’re not going back with me, because I want you to know this.
I want to see this car,” she added.”
When I bought it, I said, ‘It’s my car.’
I didn’t say, I want it to go back.
I dont want to have to pay that much for it.”
She says the car was worth more than $100,000 when she sold it.
“That’s a lot of money,” she says.
She also sells the car with other vehicles on the market, including a Toyota Camry.
“What I do is I take a car and I take all the parts from the car and then I put them in the car,” Alison explains.
She said she has “no money” and “no idea” how she can sell the Commodore.
